Admit it, it is sometimes frustrating to be shopping for new clothing as we fear that it might be out of trend and not fashionable. Sometimes when we have found that piece of clothe we really want, we flip the price tag across and realise its too expensive. Shopping in Singapore is not always cheap unless you know the correct places to shop for affordable and fashionable clothing.

1. BUGIS STREET


Bugis Street is one of the biggest street shopping place in Singapore housing almost 800 shops in 3 different levels.
One can easily get lost among the crowd during weekends and public holidays. You can find a wide variety of fashionable clothing, accessories, beauty services, food stalls and hair salons there at affordable prices. 
Most of the times, shops would also place a rack or box outside their shop selling $5 clothes. You can try your luck in digging through these racks and you might even find "Gold". 

Tip: Do not get too excited and buy stuff from the first store as you might be able to find the same product at much cheaper prices in another store.

*Scape is one of the popular hangout areas among teenagers these days. 
It is a non-profit organisation with its mission and vision rooted in support of youth, talent and leadership development.
At *Scape, you can also find shops selling fashionable clothing and accessories at affordable prices.
Don't forget to check out *Scape underground with quite a number of stores selling both cheap and expensive clothes. 
On Fridays and the weekends, you get to see many flea booths at the open area of *Scape. At the flea, you are likely able bargain and purchase cheap products from the sellers. 

Tip: Try going during the weekends where there will be the flea booths if not, it might be quite boring to shop during weekdays.

3. LUCKY PLAZA 

Lucky plaza is a well known hub for the Filipino Community in Singapore. It might be crowded with many Filipinos maid during the weekends but you will realise it is also another place to shop for clothings, accessories and watches. 
At the top floor, level 6 opposite Jollibee, there is an area where flea markets are held daily.
Try digging the items in the flea and you might find something you like and try bargaining for it. 

Tip: Wear something cooling as it will be very crowded,stuffy and dusty in the flea area.
